I loved this style of leather pant from the moment they landed. The fit was exactly what I had wanted from the brand, especially after owning many other styles. I had already purchased the tan version of these pant, a style that I was dearly hoping would remain as part of the staples line. Alas, they are moving on and I wanted to get the black pant, despite owning so many black pants already. As for sizing, my tan pair of Slouch Pants were an XS, which fit better than one could hope. There was only a S left in the black, but I wasn't going to give up yet. Although not fitting as perfectly as the tan pair, I only needed to add a belt and wear the waistline slightly higher, which caused the length to rise into place. Now, I have two pants of the same style that are worn just that tad differently. Sorry to see this style go, but ever so glad to have purchased both shades in black and tan!
I already have a pair of West14th's wonderfully comfortable West Broadway Leggings and could not pass up the chance at another pair, especially in one of their exciting colours. These Leggings are perfect for cooler weather with a nice big comfy knit or a jacket with some length, to be worn with a great pair of boots. That's how I like to wear them anyway. They can still be worn at other times during the year depending where one lives. As for sizing, my first pair of Leggings was an XXS and fit like a glove. Unfortunately, this size was not available this time around, so I went up to the XS. I will need to shorten the legs, but that's rather simple considering I only need to cut the legs to the required length with sharp scissors. Despite the XXS being the better fit, the XS still fit and look amazing. I was so hoping that these would wait for me and very grateful that they did.

I bought these pants in the Seashell White, so how could I possibly leave the black ones behind? I normally take an XXS in West14th, yet due to my experience with the brand, knew that an Extra Small would also fit, only a tad looser. I had the Leggings and Houston Skinny Pant which both came in tighter at the bottom, but wanted something that fit the leg straightly instead. It's very hard to explain how wonderfully these fit, so I'd recommend snapping up some during a Sale. Just remember that leather does stretch, so keep this in mind If they're going to be an item worn on a regular basis. The leather is so incredibly soft that they will beat worn in track pants any day. The Leggings are another type of pant that I'd highly recommend also. The garments that Violetta designs are incredibly stylish and ever so comfortable. My love for her garments have turned into a full-blown addiction and I couldn't be happier!
As I had already several black leather pants, I went for the rather different Seashell White this time. I usually take an XXS to allow for any future stretching, but only the Extra Small was available. They fit so snuggly, with just that little extra movement. They are so versatile to wear with a myriad of other colours during any particular season. I have a penchant for earth tones and these fit in so very well. Due to being a rather loyal customer to Violetta at West14th, I have quite a collection of garments from the brand. These fit in wonderfully. I always love to wear something different and these sure were. The only alterations required were for a small amount to be cut from the bottom of the legs. It's hard to explain just how comfortable these pants are, so I highly suggest splurging on a pair for yourself, especially at Sale time. I've never had a pair of pants or any other garment from West14th that didn't fit like a glove - hand on heart. Wow! This trench is amazing! The bottle green colour is great, a good substitute for black but still neutral enough to go with everything. But the leather is the star here. So soft and fine. You’d expect for a long coat for it to be heavy but it’s super lightweight and warm at the same time. Definitely a forever purchase 🤗

I've had my eye on the jacket for awhile. I've got shearling that is shorter, but not at this length. It's nice to have a jacket in a lighter colour too. It's ever so soft, warm and comfortable. Can't wait for the temperatures to drop and eventually get to try it out. At least I can be reassured that I won't be going cold when the cooler weather hits. Ever so stylish too!
I've been dreaming of these pants for the longest time. I usually take a smaller size, but as these were not available I went up in hope of being successful. I was!!! Even the length of the leg was just right, along with everything else. I'm now looking forward to cooler weather so that I can get to wear them. This is a style that I'd very much like to see kept in stock, just with various shades. Yet another ticked off my extensive Wishlist.
