Desk to Dinner Dressing

We asked fashion stylist Sarah Johnson for some practical tips when wearing our wardrobe staples.

Sarah shows us how to transition the Broome Leather Blazer, a closet failsafe, from office-to-restaurant with some simple changes.

To the Restaurant

Simple and chic changes to these outfits; Sarah creates an instant update from day-to-evening. Perfect for time sensitive changes and easy to replicate.

We breakdown the outfit strategy.

For the foundation pieces, Sarah using the extra length of the Broome Blazer as a feature by pairing this closet staple back to an ultra mini skirt.

This outfit can be recreated with a variety of skirt lengths from midi to maxi skirts, if a mini shape isn’t right for you.

By day, Sarah uses simple addition to compliment the foundations such as the YSL brooch on the lapel, the slouchy handbag which carried like a clutch, a great white knit and flat lofters.

By night, Sarah opts for a transparent lace top, fun furry heeled sandals and a crossbody bag by YSL. The rolled up sleeves lifts the whole look too!

Take another look at these looks side by side.
