The feather weight leather is a new paper thin lambskin leather quality made in Turkey by a sustainably certified tannery. Feather Nappa leather is the lightest weight leather ever introduced to our collection allowing for year round wear in this timeless wardrobe staple.

Brianna (Model one)  is 178cm (5’10”) tall with a 85 (33”) bust, a 64cm (25”) waist and 90cm (35”) hips.

Designer Fitting Notes: We designed the Broome Blazer to have a relaxed and oversized fit yet still have a slim line for many years to come. This blazer fits true to size. We suggest trying on your standard size to start. If the jacket fits snug then it's too small and suggest you size up. The pressure point would be your backside and hip area and we don't want this area to be snug. Note leather will give about a half of size over the lifetime of wear.

Designed in Bondi Beach, Australia

 

Sourced this super paper-thin lambskin leather from a gold standard sustainably certified tannery by the Leather Working Group based in Turkey. The hide is a by-product and was sourced from Turkey.  West 14th neck and swing tag labels are developed using Oeko-Tex Standard 100% organic cotton certified. 

 

Processed using a chrome base tanning process to develop this leather. 

 

Recycled material is used in the trimming details for this style. Perma Core ECO 100 by A&E is an ethically manufactured, industrial sewing thread, featuring fully recycled polyester. 

Manufactured this heirloom piece in Guangdong Province, China with quality control conducted in Hong Kong by our long term manufacturing partners.

 

Shipped in compostable satchels to our warehouse partners in Ingleburn, NSW Australia and then directly to our women around the globe. Safely packed in West 14th reusable duster bag made in Australia by Sisterworks social enterprise.

My Perfect Blazer!

Although, I love my casual jackets that are my staple items during the cooler weather, I was rather interested in this Broome Blazer. I fit between two sizes, with the smaller of them being the only size left. I spoke to Violetta who gave me some great advice on the fit of this jacket. I went ahead and purchased this Blazer and I'm so glad that I did. The fit is exactly what I was after and there was a good amount of length which fit beautifully around my hips. I can't wait to pair them with my Houston Pant, yet this will have to wait until the weather cools down. I know that the last thing I needed was another leather jacket or blazer, but I simply can't resist anything from West14th! Thank you once again for another gorgeous item to add to my collection.
